CONVENTIONAL?...#THE BRIDESMAID-S

Remember those crazy girls that make you want to go wild, stay sane, be different, be spontaneous, be nicely naught, flowery crazed, properly elegant...yeah those girls who we like to call die hard friends. Do you know the follow you all the way to the alter(not to share the groom though...lol )

The Bridesmaids...

The wedding day, comprising of the bride and groom surrounded by drama whether in large or small scale is also embed the fashionable women of colour...or not. I for one look our for the beautiful dresses by firstly the bride and then the BRIDESMAIDS. The presentations of these babes  can easily make a beautiful burst of fun for the entire outlook of the weeding. Conventional? all bridesmaids in the same colour and style or unconventional, different styles and colours all together. I have a very unconventional friend who is of the option that bridesmaids are overrated and so can't have them at her wedding. Top of the list, her friends can decide to do something with regard outfit if the want to- DEEP.

Having a small wedding in Nigeria is a trend that still needs to be gotten used to. Its really all about the glam and bridesmaids are a very important part of it. Colour and silhouette are very tricky when it comes to choosing the bridesmaids appearance. I love the idea of same dresses with different shades of the same colour or even different colours. But then, same dresses with different colours...so much ideas to explore these days..yep its call Fashion re-definition. Donna Morgan Bridesmaid dresses-Serenity Collection are are characterized by very delicate, comfortable and elegant dresses that make Greece look more alive. She explores the various ideas of the bridesmaids' appearance and nailed them all. ( I for one am a big fan of the white flowing dresses all in the same colour but with different designs).  The bohemian concepts are too so natural I can almost taste nature by just looking at the pictures.

One, two...twenty, how many bridesmaids is too many? Its a day to let all laughs out...be creative
How traditional will you be with your die-hard babes?

Pick your favs, what idea would you explore?

DARE MY FEMINITY

The desert princesses just got a couture make over. Lebanese desigener Shady Zeineldine a Kuwait based designer has created dresses that not only pull the rage, power and audacity out of the sainest of women but also 'Dares her femininity'. My fascination with his Spring-Summer 2012-1013 collection rolls beyond the delicate fabrics, glitters, illusion and riffles. The theme and presentation is enough to make tales pour our of the loops and hoops of each dress.

What is a princess without her sparkles yeah? Qui, this collection has just the right amount of glitter and and edginess to put a peacock to flight. The dresses are structured to body fit with ruffles and elegant flows embellishing each dresses in  ways that enhance the build of the dress in the mist of a creative diversity.

We have to love the Lebanese for their edgy and classy re-definition of the concept of fashion and elegance. Fashion designers like  Elie Sabb and Zuhair Murad have paved an  excellent reputation in the fashion industry.

Best known for his heavily embellished gowns and dramatic fabrics, Shady Zeinldine broke into the fashion globe with his collaboration with Madonna.
He created the embellished bustiewith a tuxedo-like top which she wore in her music video 'Living for Love' and featured in most of the dance sequence. The piece was a masculine-feminine mix of corsetry and a tuxedo-like top—it’s the sort of tight, sexy, gender-bending to suit the personality of the pop Queen. Zeineldine on his creation for Madonna stated that, "I tried to do something matador-inspired but with a touch of femininity, something more delicate, I used many kinds of lace and [decided on the] nude colour for the lining to show her sexy body."

The exquisite culture of Lebanon is the product of its diverse population belonging to different ethnic and religious groups who have inhabited over here for thousands of year. Lebanon is considered the gem of the Middle East and it has been dominated by the greatest human civilizations of the lovely planet like the Roman, Persian, Greek, Arab, Ottoman and the most recent French. Currently the people of Lebanon are very modern and perhaps Lebanon is the most fashionable country of the Arab world. The traditional and cultural clothing in the daily lives is very hard to find these days in the modern Lebanon.

Out of this fashion daring country have evolved spectacular designers like Elie Saab, Zuhair Murad, Shady Zeineldine ,Reem Acra, Georges Hobeika, Nicolas Jebran, Abed Mahfouz, Basil Soda, Sonia Fares, Rabih Kayrouz among other. Their designs while making red carpet appearances have created a new standard for elegance and couture design. These dresses are definitely a confirmations to the unique and daring fashion of these fashionable country.
Shady Zeineldine  with this collection pays homage to the elegant and exquisite taste of the Lebanese.

My personality resembles my designs to a large extent. I'm in sync with myself and I'm transparent, just like my designs-Elie Saab

Elegance is a statement, an attitude. Elegant women are women of character with confidence.-

How cool it is to see a bride walking down the aisle with a beautiful long gown with beautiful layers of tulle and organza, unveiling their mini dress at the party?-Reem Acra
