Believed to be associated with virility in ancient Greece, the orchid is one of the most highly coveted ornamental plants representational of love, luxury, beauty and strength. The meaning of the orchid shifted to luxury in the Victorian era and in recent times, it resounds rare and delicate beauty. The designs circulated around the Byzantine art of Sicily in the 11th and 12th century. The art which is largely influenced by the Norman and Arab conquest of Sicily, transformed tunic dresses, gowns and cape dresses into antique works of art. They explored Byzantine art elaborating Catholicism, castles and chivalry.Every shoe embraces a unique embellishment, with coloured crystals, patterns and reformed tendrils; regardless of the season in which they are created in, they are timelessly built.
