RED-titude

Remember the iconic song by Chris De Burgh that now brands the colour Red?

The lady in red is dancing with me, cheek to cheek,
There's nobody here, it's just you and me,
It's where I want to be,
But I hardly know this beauty by my side,
I'll never forget the way you look tonight;

 Synonymous with danger, passion, energy , action, and everything audacious, red is a worthy contender on the colour wheel and a braggadocios hue.
I have never been a fan of the brightly stated colours but I stumble over a couple of RED fashion and my eyes went all googly like Tom when he spots a stranded duck on a hunger filled day.. Can you dare to walk the Red highway? Like red shoes, bag dress, lip colour with the right amount of ruby jewelries? No?..lol
Its no wonder the Louboutin shoes have the red-itute signature about them, not every women can walk with such daring shoes after all "The shiny red color of the soles has no function other than to identify to the public that they are mine. I selected the color because it is engaging, flirtatious, memorable and the color of passion."-Christian Louboutin

So, If you get a pair of red shoes, rock it. When you see a red dress, buy it. When your friend buys a red bag, snatch it (lol, joking- get yourself a better one). When you have an even to storm, make a pout with rosy lips. When that bully tells you to walk in the opposite direction, give him/ her a wave with ox blooded nails. When someone tells you you can make it work, let your intelligence burst out with an introduction oozing a red head-to-toe .

Its RED AUDACITY...lol...would you?

“Red", I write "is the color of life. It's blood, passion, rage. It's menstrual flow and after birth. Beginnings and violent end. Red is the color of love. Beating hearts and hungry lips. Roses, Valentines, cherries. Red is the color of shame. Crimson cheeks and spilled blood. Broken hearts, opened veins. A burning desire to return to white.”
 Mary Hogan, Pretty Face
