OLD SCHOOL...#UNASHAMED

Did you know that the most revolutionary fashion of the 60's born out of a quest for self identity has become a referral for unique and timeless fashion or even recap for iconic fun moments? Out of all the generations that continue to influence today’s culture there is only one decade revolutionary enough to be known as the 60’s.The large Afros, flared skirts, over sizes jackets, nerdy frames, socks, midi skirts and gowns that fit in just the right places;the Old School dressing sure has a place in the Fashion Hall of Fame.

These fun-filled students created a 60's atmosphere to commemorate their final year in the university. Classy yeah?..lol.

Introducing a replay of the 60's in the 21st century by Theatrical students of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria-Nigeria. It sure is permissible to breath out loud after been bound to the theater and dramatic literature for 4 years (not that that is really  a bother...lol)

Fine African sisters and brothers, helping us remember what fashion was all about, well, what it is still about."Your dresses should be tight enough to show you're a woman and loose enough to show you're a lady." —Edith Head

Marcus Garvey? nice hair cut bro

"In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different." —Coco Chanel

Humm? Epic school battle...lol. Kind of makes me wonder if this is an expression of the nerdy days....

"Fashion is the armor to survive the reality of everyday life." —Bill Cunningham

"A little bad taste is like a nice splash of paprika. We all need a splash of bad taste—it's hearty, it's healthy, it's physical. I think we could use more of it. No taste is what I'm against." —Diana Vreeland

"Playing dress-up begins at age five and never truly ends." —Kate Spade

"Anyone can get dressed up and glamorous, but it is how people dress in their days off that are the most intriguing." —Alexander Wang

"In difficult times, fashion is always outrageous." —Elsa Schiaparelli

How did we...well, we all make a statement to mark our graduation? I for one can remember nibbling on cream-filled biscuits..lol. Talk about turning up
